Job seekers, California Staffing Service works with some of the nation's largest childcare chains as well as many smaller local daycares, preschools and after school programs. We have a well established client base in the San Francisco Bay Area and are rapidly expanding into Contra Costa, Solano, San Joaquin, Los Angeles and Orange Counties. (In addition to the counties mentioned, some of our national clients may have need in other regions as well so applications are encouraged to apply from anywhere in California!)

With new schools signing up daily we currently have need for everything from entry-level teacher's aides to fully qualified directors!

You can start by sending us your resume or calling to schedule an interview. Then, once we receive your resume we'll contact you to schedule a face-to-face interview. During your interview, we'll walk you through the rest of the hiring process and explain to you your obligations and requirements to work with children in California. At that time, you'll be able to give us all of your availability information so that once you've completed the hiring process; we can start matching you up with assignment in your area. Usually, by the end of your interview, you'll be given an idea of how busy your region is, how much work you can expect to be offered, and what your hourly wages will be.

That's right, you are given a set rate that is all yours! Unlike other temp agencies, we don't take a cut from your check. With some temp agencies, you're not really employed by anyone. The client offers a rate to the agency then the agency keeps their cut and offers you what's left so you never know what you'll be making from assignment to assignment. We don't work that way. You ARE our employee so you ALWAYS know what you'll be making on every assignment.

Other agencies may offer flexibility, but do they really deliver? Unlike other agencies, your region really is up to you. Though you may occasionally be offered assignments outside of your region, you will never be reprimanded for declining. Your schedule is also really up to you. We don't require you to commit to any set minimum number of hours per week. You tell us what you have available and we'll see what we can find for you. Really.
